Cozy Crawl is a deckbuilding dungeon crawler where every battle is won with a well-played hand. Descend eight floors of a lightless dungeon as Lumen, a lantern-bearing hero, fighting your way down to slay the Maw. You begin with a modest deck of Strikes, Guards, and a Focus, spending three energy each turn to attack, raise Block, apply Poison, gain Strength, heal, or draw more cards. Enemies telegraph their next move with an intent badge, so you can Block the big hits and race their health down before they finish you. Clear a fight and you draft one of three new cards to sharpen your deck, or skip the pick to heal instead. Health carries between fights, so every choice matters. Between runs, bank Embers in the Ember Forge for permanent upgrades like bonus Max HP, opening Block, or an extra starting card, making each descent start stronger. It's a compact, honest roguelike deckbuilder you can play free in your browser, no download. Slimes, bats, and brutes stand between you and the boss; read their intents, manage your energy, and build a deck that can finish the job. How deep can you get before the dark takes you?

How to play

Desktop: click a card to select it, then click the enemy to play it (or click the same card twice). Press number keys 1-9 to play cards, Space or Enter to end your turn, and Escape to deselect. Mobile: tap a card, then tap the foe to play it; tap End Turn when finished. Tips: Block expires at the start of your turn, so spend it the same turn you gain it. Watch the enemy's intent badge and block or outrace their big attacks. Poison ticks every enemy turn, so stacking Venom early pays off against high-HP brutes and the boss.
