Arc Hook is a momentum-driven grapple-swing game — free to play in your browser with no download — starring Volt, a glowing gecko sprinting across an endless neon city of towers. The whole game lives in one verb: hold to grapple, release to fly. Hold your input and Volt fires a silk thread to the nearest reachable anchor ahead, then swings beneath it like a pendulum under real gravity; let go and he launches off the swing's tangent, soaring across the gap to grab the next anchor. Nail the timing and you flow from tower to tower in a fast, satisfying rhythm; release too early or too late and momentum carries you short. The tower course is procedurally generated and scrolls forever, steadily escalating with wider gaps, taller towers, anchors that start to move, and hazards like spikes and drones — but it's fair by construction, with every next anchor placed within reach of a well-timed swing, so any death is a timing error, not bad luck. Volt lives in the left third of the screen so your finger never blocks the action. Silk-motes you collect bank into a persistent currency spent in the Silk Loom on six permanent upgrades — longer grapple range, a one-time mid-air re-grapple save, slow-motion aim, a mote magnet, a score multiplier, and a head-start distance. There's no finish line, only your best distance. Don't fall.

How to play

Hold to grapple — tap and hold on mobile, hold the mouse button, or hold Space on desktop — and Volt fires a thread to the nearest anchor ahead and swings beneath it like a pendulum. Release to let go and fly off the swing's momentum, then hold again to grab the next anchor and keep the chain going. Collect silk-motes as you swing and chase your distance record. Tips: release near the bottom of your swing's arc, when Volt is moving fastest and most forward, to carry the farthest across a gap; let a swing build before letting go rather than grappling and releasing instantly; and spend silk in the Silk Loom early on longer range and the mid-air save, which make the widening gaps far more forgiving. Falling off the bottom or hitting a hazard ends the run.
