Choose 3x3 for a quick coffee-break solve, 4x4 for the classic challenge, or 5x5 when you want a real chain-reaction knot to untangle. Every board is generated to be provably solvable, so there is always a clean path to lights-out — the trick is finding the shortest one. Your move count is tracked live and the game remembers your fewest-moves record for each grid size, turning every restart into a race against your own best. How to play

Goal: turn OFF every lantern on the board. Tapping any cell toggles that lantern plus the ones directly above, below, left, and right of it. On desktop, click a cell with the mouse, or move the highlighted focus with the arrow keys and press Space or Enter to toggle. On mobile, just tap a lantern. Pick your grid size (3x3, 4x4, 5x5) from the buttons, and use New Board for a fresh puzzle. Tip 1: pressing the same cell twice cancels out, so undo a mistake by tapping it again. Tip 2: a proven method is 'chase the lights' — clear the top row by pressing the cells in the row beneath any that are still lit, then repeat downward; the final row tells you which top cells to start over from. Tip 3: fewer moves beats your record, so plan the whole ripple before you commit rather than tapping randomly.
